When Sarah accidentally breaks Bubbe's beautiful blue glass bowl, she is heartbroken. But Bubbe comforts her, assuring her that it is Sarah—not the bowl—that is important. After sweeping up, Sarah finds a heart-shaped piece of glass in the corner, puts it in her pocket and, the next day, takes it to beach, where it begins a journey around the world.
